ARMing Heroes’ Board of Trustees consists of the following individuals.

Nick Bernardo, III
Board Member & Board President
Nick Bernardo, III, founded ARMing Heroes in the State of New Jersey in March of 2009 and holds the title of Board President. He is president and owner of Net Gain Marketing, Inc., a marketing consulting firm operating since 2003 primarily in the credit and collection industry, based in Collingswood, New Jersey. Mr. Bernardo’s past non-profit experience includes volunteer experience with Philadelphia Futures as a mentor to high school students, Habitat for Humanity as a construction volunteer, and the Philadelphia Department of Recreation as a youth baseball coach. Bob Ruff
Board Member & Board Secretary
Bob Ruff holds the title of Board Secretary. He is a senior vice president at NCO Financial Systems, Inc., the world’s largest debt collection company, based in Horsham, Pennsylvania. His responsibilities include analytic services, customer contact management, national client services, and support services. Prior to joining NCO, Mr. Ruff was employed by First USA, Chase Cardmember Services, and Fleet Credit Card Services, where he held various risk management and collections strategy positions. Mr. Ruff holds a B.S. from Seton Hall University and an M.B.A. from Villanova University. Mr. Ruff served as a platoon leader in the 101st Airborne Division during Operation Desert Storm. Nick Bernardo, Jr.
Board Member & Board Treasurer
Nick Bernardo, Jr., holds the title of Board Treasurer. He is president and owner of a construction contracting firm of the same name based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, since 1980 Nick Bernardo Carpenters. Mr. Bernardo is a Vietnam-era U.S. Air Force service-disabled veteran. Mr. Bernardo’s past experience in the non-profit sector includes holding board positions with multiple neighborhood civic and athletic associations in Philadelphia, including positions with Northwood Civic Association, Simpson Athletic Association, and Parkview Hospital. Brian Greenberg
Board Member
Brian Greenberg holds the title of Board Member. He is managing director and CEO of Greenberg Advisors, and one of the most experienced strategic advisors in the accounts receivable management sector, specializing in providing merger and acquisition (M&A), capital raising, and valuation-related advice to owners, executives, and investors in the ARM industry. Susan Namm
Board Member
Susan Namm holds the position of Board Member. A industry veteran since 1983 with extensive first- and third-party collection experience, she is currently Director, Operations, at Arrow Financial Services, a Sallie Mae company. Ms. Namm brings a unique voice to the board as a mother to two sons who serve or have served in the military. Fred Landrum
Board Member
Fred Landrum has held senior positions in the teleservices industry since 1983 for companies, large and small, engaged in customer service, first- and third-party collections, market research, and customer satisfaction. In addition to the consumer market, he has also been involved in healthcare financial services and was a recipient of the 2008 Helen Yerger award for committee work in education for the healthcare community. Mr. Landrum served in the U.S. Air Force for nearly six years in the 1970’s, first in Korea and then with the National Security Agency and Defense Language Institute. Fred is currently CEO of Prosperity America, whose mission is to create quality jobs for American veterans, service personnel, their families, and communities.  His non-profit experience includes time on the advisory council of the Columbus, Georgia, chapter of the American Red Cross.
